In my opinion, this company represents everything wrong with Corporate America. They excite consumers to hoard by promising low prices, low prices extended on the backs of sweatshop laborers and employees whom they take out peasant insurance policies on. The hoarding shoppers buy more in larger quantities and become obese so they can eat everything before it goes bad. Small businesses in our area will close if this horrendous place opens. PLEASE, let's prevent this from happening!
IF the above offenses weren't bad enough, now this parasitic leach of a company wants to open up a branch in my arts oriented neighborhood! As mentioned above, I believe this will force smaller locally owned businesses to close because they can't compete. It will also bring a huge chuck of boredom and mediocrity to an otherwise creative area, known for it's galleries and arts oriented vibe. This could discourage arts events that take place throughout the year bringing culture and money to our community.
